Our home is ideally situated in Carillon Beach. From our front door, guests are less than 15 yards from 2 separate dune walkovers. This means that 2 minutes after leaving our front porch, pure white sand will be squeaking underfoot. (Yes, the sand is so fine that it squeaks when you walk on it.) And that is just the beginning. Already set up a few feet from the dune walkover are 4 beach chairs with cushions and 2 umbrellas which bear the name of and are compliments of "Coasting On Idyll".
From the lounge chairs, the beach extends off in both directions and is almost a mile long. The clear aquamarine water stretches to what seems to be an endless horizon. It is truly one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. And it is yours to enjoy without hurry or crowds.
At the end of the day, family and friends gather on the beach or the dune walkovers to watch the sun slowly melt into the gulf producing world class sunsets that are impossible to adequately describe.
